Priya Somani: Making Space for Healing in a Noisy World

Healing that speaks the language of today.

New Delhi [India], December 16: There are people who talk about spirituality, and then there are people who live it quietly, consistently, and without spectacle. Priya Somani belongs to the latter.

Born in Jodhpur and now working from New Delhi, Priya did not grow up planning a career in healing or spirituality. Her academic background in Home Science pointed toward a conventional path. But life, as it often does, nudged her elsewhere—toward questions that didn’t have quick answers and emotions that needed deeper understanding.

Her introduction to Pranic Healing wasn’t driven by trends or titles. It came from lived experience—learning how energy, emotions, and mental patterns influence everyday life. Over time, this understanding shaped her work as a certified Pranic Healer, where she now supports individuals dealing with stress, emotional overload, and inner imbalance in a world that rarely pauses to breathe.

In 2023, Priya started Breaking Barriers—not as a “content strategy,” but as a space for honest conversations. What began as a personal initiative soon found its audience. Today, the platform connects with over 123K subscribers on YouTube and 109K followers on Instagram, drawn not by dramatics but by relatability.

Her conversations don’t follow a script. She speaks about karma, past-life impressions, emotional energy, and social conditioning with clarity rather than fear. She also reflects on contemporary culture and public personalities, helping audiences understand how spiritual patterns show up in modern lives—not in isolation, but right where people already are.

What makes her voice stand out is restraint. Priya doesn’t claim to have all the answers. She listens as much as she speaks, positioning herself as a guide, not a guru. This balance has built trust across age groups and belief systems.

Outside the digital space, her work extends into social impact. Through Different Strokes, an initiative focused on children with Down syndrome, Priya advocates emotional care, sensitivity, and inclusion—principles she believes are central to any form of healing.

Travel has also shaped her perspective. Experiences across countries like Cambodia, Turkey, and parts of Africa exposed her to varied cultural approaches to healing and mindfulness. These journeys influence her understanding of how energy, compassion, and consciousness are universal—even when expressed differently.

Looking ahead, Priya sees Breaking Barriers growing beyond screens. Her vision includes in-person retreats, multilingual conversations, guided workshops, and community-led wellness experiences that make healing accessible rather than exclusive.

When asked what she would tell someone starting out in the healing space, her answer is grounded and honest:
“Don’t perform healing. Practice it. People don’t need perfection—they need sincerity.”

Priya Somani isn’t trying to change the world overnight. She’s doing something quieter and perhaps more meaningful—helping people feel understood. One conversation, one reflection, one pause at a time.
