Ans- Actually there are 4 key inspirations I had while writing the book:

  • Observing the world: I find inspiration in their surroundings, noting behavior patterns, natural beauty, and human complexities. This keen observation provides material for my poetry, enabling reflection on universal truths and timeless themes.
  • Expressive urge: Like many writers, I feel a deep need for creative expression. Poetry serves as a medium to explore thoughts, emotions, and perceptions, fostering self-discovery and sharing experiences with others.
  • Fascination with imagination: my inclination towards creative and fantastical elements suggests a fascination with imagination. Exploring scenarios like toys coming to life or trees becoming clouds taps into the boundless possibilities of the mind, inviting readers on a journey of wonder and exploration.
  • A quest for meaning: Ultimately, my inspiration may stem from a deep-seated quest for meaning and understanding in life. Through my poetry, I try to grapple with existential questions, explore the complexities of human existence, and seek moments of beauty and transcendence amidst the chaos of the world.

Q6. Can you share an interesting aspect of your writing process?

Ans- One interesting aspect of my writing process is how I often draw inspiration from unexpected sources. For example, the idea for the poem about toys coming to life in a toy shop actually came to me while I was browsing through an antique store and stumbled upon a collection of vintage toys. It got me thinking about the stories they might have to tell if they could speak, and that’s how the poem was born. I find that inspiration can strike when you least expect it, so I try to stay open to new experiences and opportunities for creativity in my everyday life.

Q7. Do you have any advice for the aspiring authors?

Ans- My advice to aspiring writers would be to write from the heart and to never underestimate the power of perseverance. Writing is a journey, and it’s important to stay true to your own unique voice and vision. Don’t be afraid to experiment, to take risks, and to embrace failure as a stepping stone towards growth. And perhaps most importantly, read widely and voraciously, as every book you read can teach you something new about the craft of writing.

Q8. What are you currently working on?

Ans- Well I’ve been working on 2-3 different projects, one is a long running project of mine about the civilisations during time of Pangea, it will be an adventure sci fi, fantasy with time travel in it. One is a classical Shakespeare style tragedy story and rest are series of short stories
